Following up one the below, just a quick reminder that we invite you to our next Accounting for Impact event: ‘Academics' participation in the policymaking process’ which will take place in 2 weeks!
This workshop will build the capacity of (academic) participants to engage with the process of policymaking. It will provide information on resources available to contribute their expertise to problems of public interest in the field of social and environmental accounting. The session will equip attendees to:
- Understand how to successfully approach the world of policymaking in the field of social and environmental accounting.
- Develop a capacity to connect their research with policy-making issues in the field of social and environmental accounting.
- Learn about some of the opportunities available to participate in policymaking processes in the field of social and environmental accounting.
We will hear directly from Mercedes Luque-Vílchez, who is an Assistant Professor of Accounting in the Agricultural Economics, Finance, and Accounting Department at the Universidad de Córdoba. She is a member of the ERGO research group (Universidad de Burgos) and part of the Secretariat of the Project Task Force on European Sustainability Reporting Standards of the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG).
